I am a Dutch/Iranian film production designer and film director, born in 1972 in Tehran. Since 2020, I have been a proud member of the European Film Academy (EFA). I brought extensive production design experience from Iran to the Netherlands, where I have been actively building my career for the past five years.

Recently, I worked as the Production Designer for the series 'Sleepers II' (2023), produced by Fiction Valley for the streaming service Videoland. Another highlight of my recent work is 'Lucid Dreaming' (2023), which won the prestigious Gouden Kalf for Best Short in 2023. My other notable projects include the feature film 'Die Middag/That Afternoon' (2022) and serie 'Zara en de magische kicksen/Zara and the Magical Kicks'(2018).

In the past years after my graduation in Interior Design from university in 1996, I became an independent film production designer and costume designer in 1999. I worked on many feature films and also designed several historical serials. I was nominated twice as the Best Production Designer and Costume Designer at the House of Cinema Film Festival (2006 and 2008) in Iran. In 2010, I was chosen as the Best Film Production Designer and Costume Designer for the feature film 'Farewell Baghdad'(2010)in Iran.
