Grecia Rojas is a film producer and audiovisual project manager with over nine years of experience working across film, television, and cultural projects in Central America and Europe. Her work moves naturally between creative production and institutional coordination, with a strong focus on socially engaged, auteur-driven stories and international collaboration.
She trained at Casa Comal Film and Television School in Guatemala as an Audiovisual Directing Technician and holds a Diploma in Film and Television from Universidad Veritas in Costa Rica. Throughout her career, she has continued to expand her practice through workshops with filmmakers such as Walter Lima Jr. (Brazil), Massimo Martinotti (Italy), and José Ramón Chávez (Mexico), as well as specialized international training, including the European Co-Production – Legal & Financial Aspects workshop at the Erich Pommer Institut in Berlin (2025).
Her professional experience includes work on both fiction and documentary projects in the region and internationally.
She currently lives in the Netherlands, where she takes part in the Buddy Career Boost Program of the Buddy Film Foundation, supporting the professional integration of international filmmakers into the European industry.
Grecia is the founder of Lenca Films, a Netherlands-based production company dedicated to stories with a strong Latin American identity and an international outlook.
