Ivanna (Zhanna) Laka is a Rotterdam-based experienced motion graphics designer, video editor, and colorgrader with over 15 years of experience in video production and post-production.

Ivanna’s creative journey started in television, where she spent several years editing TV programs, news segments, and documentary content at ZIK Media Corporation. Since then, she has built a diverse freelance career, collaborating with agencies, filmmakers, and international clients.

In motion design, she specializes in logo animations, explainer videos, and animated content for social media, websites, and apps. As a video editor and colorgrader, she has worked on a wide range of content: from independent films and feature-length documentaries to educational content, from YouTube and TikTok videos to brand campaigns. 

Her colorgrading work includes the award-winning documentary Heat Singers (Phalanstery Films, Kyiv, UA), and the mockumentary Deserted Country 2020 (435FILMS, Kyiv, UA). She’s also passionate about independent film. Her short Lisboa Postcard (2020) — which she produced and directed — was officially selected for several international film festivals. Over the years, she has taken part in six 48-Hour Film Festival challenges (The Netherlands edition), working on editing shorts films.

Currently, Ivanna is the Head of Content at CreativeMornings The Hague, where she creates event videos and animated assets to celebrate creativity and community.

Driven by curiosity and a love for visual experimentation, Ivanna continues exploring new ways to merge storytelling, design, and motion — whether through film, AR, or interactive media.
